Worship on earth is preparation for the worship that we will do for eternity in Heaven. The Worship Team is responsible for all aspects of the worship life of the congregation. This includes Sunday morning, Holy Week, Christmas and Easter beach services, and other special services. This Team will develop Ministries that will participate in and provide for the worship life of the church.
The goal of the Worship Team is to help people have a powerful encounter with God that either changes their life or sustains them on their Christian journey.
The Worship Team Ministries
Ushers Ministry: This ministry focuses on preparing the Sanctuary for worship, providing for the comfort of worshippers and contributing to the loving atmosphere of our church. This ministry also prepares the elements for Communion.
The goal of this ministry is to enhance worship for all who come here.
Drama Ministry: This ministry enhances worship with relevant and meaningful dramatic skits and productions.
The goal of this ministry is to help create significant worship experiences.
Music Ministry: This ministry enhances worship through the use of music. It assists the Worship Director in all areas related to music ranging from recruiting musicians to maintaining the library of resources.
The goal of this ministry is to create significant worship experiences.
Media Ministry: This ministry enhances the experience of worship through the use of media technology. This includes the maintenance of media equipment, lighting, and supplies. It also includes the creation of special informational, educational, and worship related media projects.
The goal of this ministry is to use the technological resources available to enhance worship.

Prepare the Sanctuary for all Sunday worship and special worship services. Welcome people to worship and provide any needed assistance. Hand out Worship Bulletins and escort people to seats. Prepare Communion and distribute during service. Provide above services at Christmas Eve and Easter Beach Services. Clean the Sanctuary after worship services. Record Attendance at all worship services. |
