The Develop Team focuses on the process of Spiritual Formation. It is responsible for the ministries that help people of all ages to grow in both a relational as well as a classroom setting. As people deepen their relationship with Christ, this team is responsible for helping connect them with the Spiritual Gifts discernment class and with an active ministry in the church.
The goal of the Develop Team is to help people develop into mature believers and to find an active place in ministry.
The Develop Team Ministries
Small Groups Ministry: This Ministry provides a variety of small groups that enable people to share the journey of faith and life together. Each group will engage in study of God’s word, support for one another, and projects that serve the church and community.
The goal of this ministry is to involve at least 75% of the regular worshippers in small groups.
Children’s Ministry: This Ministry works to instill a love for God and a relationship with Jesus Christ for children of all ages. This happens on Sunday Mornings, Wednesday evenings, Vacation Bible School, and at special events designed to help children deepen their Christian journey.
The goal of this ministry is to help children develop a love of God, develop a personal relationship with Jesus, develop an active prayer life and help them learn the core Bible stories.
Youth Ministry: This ministry helps teenagers navigate very difficult years by offering God’s love and the church’s support.
The goal of this ministry is to have youth who are committed to Jesus and who are integrated into the life of the church.
Center for Christian Formation: The purpose of this ministry is to provide a comprehensive program for adult education for the church. Courses will range in topic and level of depth.
The goal of this ministry is to help the adults of the church to reach spiritual maturity by teaching the Bible, Theology, Church History, Prayer, and Discipleship.
Spiritual Gifts Assessment: This ministry helps people discover and understand their passion, their spiritual gifts, and their style of work. This is all done to help people more fully grasp what God’s plan is for their life’s purpose and ministry.
The goal of this ministry is to have more than 50% of the congregation active in gift-based ministry.
Men’s Fellowship: This ministry provides opportunities for fellowship, study, and service for men of the church.
The goal of this ministry is to foster the sense of fellowship and community in the church.
Women’s Guild: This ministry provides opportunities for fellowship, study and service, for the women of the church.
The goal of this ministry is to foster the sense of fellowship and community in the church.
